I leapt into the skies,
and brought down the stars,
But you looked down and said,
'twas the sun that i want..

The questions you asked,
the answers i rambled,
they aren't right you said,
my hopes dashed,
my quest abandoned..

Desperation questioned,
"if this isn't right then what is"..
"perfection", you said
tears ran down my cheeks
